Kellee Preshay Love

January 11, 1985 — December 28, 2021

Our precious angel, Kellee Preshay Love, beloved daughter of Sylvia Ann Love Turner and John Gregory Turner, of Palmdale, California. Kellee is also loved by her biological father, Marcus Preston Love. On Tuesday morning, December 28, 2021, the angels escorted Kellee’s sweet soul to heaven. She was born in Wiesbaden, Hessen, Germany on January 11, 1985. She was an Air Force serviceman’s daughter of Sylvia and Marcus. Kellee walked this earthly realm with grace, courage, and a love for God.

Despite her short journey on earth, she is deeply loved and missed and leaves her loving memories to cherish. Our heart aches for Kellee that nothing can heal it, but God knows that she will always hold a place in our hearts. Her kind heart, bright smile, and laughter brought immense joy to those around her. Kellee had a quality of inner strength and humbleness; she leaned on our heavenly Father God to provide healing and comfort to her body through the pain and sorrow. Psalm 73:26, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandparents, Gerald B. Smith (Dixie) and Hill Smith Jr. of Shreveport, Louisiana, and paternal grandparents, John and Rebecca Turner of Carson, California. She is survived by aunts and uncles on Sylvia’s side, Angelia and Samuel Jones, Carnon Smith and Volton Wright, Terry and Stephanie Smith. She is also survived by aunts and uncles on John’s side, Mark and Norma Turner and Avery and Natalie Cox; and, on Marcus’ side Sharae Love, Veronica Love, Jeffrey and Sandy Love. And, Kellee had numerous cousins and friends who loved her very much.

Kellee will be remembered for her valiant service and courage in the United States Army National Guard and Army Reserves. She was honorably discharged on 03/10/2021. She graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and graduated from Columbia Southern University with a Master of Business Administration, specialization in Human Resource Management. Her accomplishments weigh heavily in motivation and humbleness. She worked at Northrop Grumman as a Configuration Analyst in Melbourne, Florida. Kellee was buying a house in Florida until the Lord called her home.

Memorial services will be held at Green Hill Mortuary, 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275, Monday, February 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends and family at a viewing on Sunday, February 6, 2022, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at the military cemetery, Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, California 92518, 10:00 a.m. She will be honored for her service in the military, there her body will be laid to rest.
