Keith Kishishita

Keith Kazuo Kishishita, lived the majority of his life in Carson, CA., passed away surrounded by family and friends during his final week, died on October 10, 2023. He was 68 years old.

Keith graduated from Carson High School in 1973, and from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering. After graduation, Keith worked for the Metropolitan Water District for many years, then worked at Expeditors until his early retirement.

During his life, Keith enjoyed playing poker & bowling with his good friends, going to the horse racing venues to wager, investing his money in the stock market. Keith lived his life by not impacting the environment by minimizing his use of water, natural gas, electricity, and the use of his car. Keith was actively composting for his own landscaping and for other areas in public owned property where he would plant and use his saved water for reuse. Keith was known to exercise walk in order to pick up cans and bottles to do his part in saving the environment.

Keith enjoyed attending the family gatherings, had a giving heart to friends and family.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Akira Kishishita and Tamiko (Matsumoto) Kishishita, and various aunties, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his sister Tina Kishishita, her brothers Stewart (Mercedes), and Joel (Nancy) Kishishita, and niece Orchid Cameron (son Julian & daughter Fiona), niece Natalie (Michael) Furst (daughters Odelle & Edith), and nephew Kurt Kishishita, and numerous family and friends.

Services are being held at the Green Hills Mortuary Chapel on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Funeral service will be held at the chapel at 2:00pm, followed by interment.
