Kay Cecelia Bruce

Kay C. Bruce, 76, passed away September 26, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born September 30, 1945 in Fairmont, MN to Marvin and Helen (Eisen) Reed. She moved to California with her family in the late 1950’s, and resided in the South Bay for over 60 years. Kay graduated from Narbonne High School in 1963 and married San Pedro local, John Bruce in 1964. They celebrated 57 years of marriage in August. Kay is survived by her loving husband, John Bruce, daughters Rebecca (Richard) Serrato, Rachel (Dale) Carothers, son Robert (Janine) Hoskins-Bruce, and grandsons Georgy ‘Gosha’ Carothers and Oleg Carothers. A funeral service will be held in her honor at 9 am on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
