Kathryn Peterson

Kathy went to our Lords House on 31 January 2018. She passed peacefully with her family at her side. Kathy was born 11 August 1951 to Robert & Donna Schrauben in Torrance CA. She worked at Toyota Motors Corporation for 20 years before retiring to be a full time mother and house wife. During those years of retirement she started her own crafts business "Kathy's Karacters" and also babysat for many children of family and friends. She enjoyed her crafts, going to Las Vegas, going on cruises to Alaska, Mediterranean, Caribbean and Mexico, fresh water fishing and most of all watching our son Terry play baseball and recently watching our grandkids playing their sports.. Most .of all she loved going to Utah to relax and visit with her in-laws who she considered to be her own family and loved dearly.
She is survived by her husband Gary, son Terry and his wife Katia, grandchildren Emily and Ethan, stepson Erik Gibson (shortcake), sister Deidre Picascia, brothers Wayne (Judy), Virgil (Anne), goddaughter Sara Burgos, our surrogate son Ryan O Toole and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and many friends and acquaintances. Kathryn joins her mother, father, countless family members and friends who will keep her company for eternity. Kathy will be deeply missed by all and will be in our hearts forever.
A celebration of her life will be held on 17 February, 2018 at 11:00 am at Torrance First United Methodist Church, 1551 El Prado, Torrance, CA 90501
