With heavy hearts we share the passing of our mother Kay Ulrich. Kay passed away peacefully on February 13, 2023 surrounded by her family. Kay was born in Cuba City Wisconsin, the youngest of five children, and raised on a Dairy Farm. After she married the love of her life, Tony, they loaded up their Pontiac and thankfully headed west where they settled in Wilmington and later Rancho Palos Verdes. Kay was a proud homemaker & talented seamstress. She enjoyed entertaining and cooking, was an avid league bowler, and a proud member of the San Pedro Elks Ladies Auxiliary Club and Holy Trinity Church.
Most notably, Kay was a founding, member of The National Alliance on Mental Illness and she inspired many to get more knowledgeable and involved in mental health advocacy. Kay was known for her generosity, savvy sense of style and her youthful spirit. Kay was preceded in death by her husband Tony, and her son Chris. She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Wieczorek (George), Connie Trippy (Howard), son Craig Ulrich (Debbie), and grandchildren Melissa Sidell (Jeremy), Kelli McLean, Blake Trippy (Chasity), Alison Trippy and Great grandchildren Sydney, Scarlett, Dylan, Jordan and Abbie. Special thanks to Randy and Joy from Emerald Isle Assisted Living. Kay lived a long, happy life. Our Mimi was loved dearly and she will be greatly missed. Services will be private.
