Katheryn Whitelock

Katheryn, the daughter of John Delbert and Mabel Lucille Mingo Davis, was born July 26, 1917 in Ivins, Idaho and passed away at age 94 in Fullerton, California on June 20, 2012. She was an owner of Harbor Business Service in Wilmington, CA for 43 years with her sister, Lucille. Katheryn was a graduate of LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah and a long standing member of the LDS Church. She also attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho and Los Angeles Harbor College in Wilmington, California. Katheryn was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Whitelock; her son, H. Kenly Whitelock; two sisters, Lucille Davis Osborn and Afton Davis Blenkle, and her brother, Capt. John Delbert Davis, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and best friend, H. Christine Whitelock; her granddaughter, Jamie H. Whitelock; her daughter-in-law, Alice S. Whitelock; her sister, Victoria R. Nelson and numerous nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren. She was a kind, caring, and gentle person, and she will be missed by all who were fortunate to know her. The Memorial Service for Mrs. Katheryn Davis Whitelock will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29th at the interment site in Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Viewing will be the same day from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. in the Green Hills Mortuary.
