Katherine Jabuka

Katherine Jabuka of San Pedro passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 93. She was born in San Pedro to Mate and Mary Katnich on September 15, 1930. Born and raised in San Pedro, Katherine attended Bandini Street Elementary, Dana Jr. High and San Pedro High School, graduating in the Winter Class of 1949. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Randy) Atwood, sons, Sam (Lisa) Jabuka and Richard (Tina Anderson) Jabuka; nine grandchildren, Christopher (Bristal) Atwood, Lindsay Atwood, Bryan Jabuka, Kevin Jabuka, Joshua Jabuka, Justin (Chesy) Jabuka, Ashley (Derek) Jordan, Jason Jabuka and Jacob (Samantha) Jabuka; nine great grandchildren, Callie Atwood, Oaklie Atwood, Waylen Atwood, Bryan Jabuka, Presley Jabuka, Reese Jabuka, Eva Jordan, Joseph Jordan and Jack Jordan. Katherine is preceded in death by Sam, her beloved husband of 64 years and brother Mat Katnich. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel followed by interment.
