Katherine G Bustos

Katherine Greeley Bustos passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 96. She was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico on November 18, 1927, to Patrick and Ruby Greeley. She was a 70-year resident of Torrance, California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fausto J. Bustos, and daughter Mary Bustos.

She is survived by children Joe (Bobbie) Bustos, Ralph (Becky) Bustos, Melanie (Frank) Campa, and Janine (Bob) LaBrecque. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.

Katherine was a long-time employee of JC Penney Company. She led a highly active life and enjoyed a variety of interests, including watching Dodger baseball, traveling, and was always ready to go to any casino that she could. She also enjoyed doing crafting projects which she often gifted to family and friends.

Visitation will be held 4:30pm – 8:30pm on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Green Hills Mortuary. A private (by invitation) funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 19th at Green Hills Memorial Chapel followed by interment.
