Our beloved mother, Kate Zurak, passed away on Friday June 29th at the age of 94.
She is survived by her daughters Claire Pavlik and Catherine Zurak, sons-in-law George Pavlik and Charles Cavanagh, grandchildren Charlotte Pavlik and Miro Cavanagh and brother George Mateljan, Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Miro Zurak, father, George Mateljan, mother, Katica Mateljan, brothers John and Anthony Mateljan and sister, Elsa Nenada.
She was born in San Pedro on June 30th, 1923. She was a longtime resident of Leisure World, Seal Beach.
A funeral service will be held at 9am on Friday, July 6th at Green Hills Memorial Chapel followed by interment. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
