On March 30, 2011, the Lord gave us Dalila & David Aguilar a precious baby girl who we named Kalani Hope Aguilar. At birth the doctors said that she will not survive because she had a rare illness however my husband and I stood on our faith and we told the doctors "We believe in our doctor which is Jesus Christ and He has the last word, He is the only one who gives life and He is the only one that can take it away". Although our hearts were broken but we thank God for the prayers of the righteousness.
Kalani brought great joy and love to our family. Although she was an ill baby she would always look up to the sky with a smile. During church services we would notice that she would stare up and we know within our hearts that she would see Gods angels surrounding her. I would raise her little hands and have her praise the Lord and I know that she loved the Lord with all her little heart. Even though she was only a baby she would worship & praise the living God who gave her life. We knew that Kalani was in the mighty hands of God. We enjoyed each and every day that we were able to love and care for Kalani. Kalani was touched by so many people. People would notice her big blue eyes and I would share with them her big testimony.
To all those who reads this I want you to know that the Lord is our strength. I thank God for the wonderful 7 months of allowing me to care for such a precious gift. Taking care of her was challenging however God gave us the wisdom and knowledge to do so with loving heart.
We would like to thank all the nurses and doctors from Hospice of Trinity Kids Care Services. Also, we thank God because he gave us wisdom, strength and knowledge. He showed us how to take care of our baby! Our family honor & serve a mighty God. As we have been truly blessed for our little miracle girl who God allowed her to be with us for 7 months and that's how we know that the Lord makes no mistakes. We would like to thank our family & friends for always loving and caring for Kalani. Special thanks to Jasmine & Richard for helping us take care of her, grandparents, aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews. Also, special thanks to our family who came to California from Rochester, NY as well as the ones were not able to make it but have us all in prayers.
