Julia Huggins, 84, a beloved resident of Torrance, CA for 61 years, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dixon, Illinois on April 5, 1940, Julia married her childhood sweetheart Joseph Huggins on November 28, 1959, celebrating a remarkable 65 years of marriage.
The couple moved to Torrance, CA in 1964, where Julia built a fulfilling life. She enjoyed a successful career as a District Manager for the Daily Breeze Newspaper, while also nurturing a loving family.
Julia is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph Huggins; her four children, Douglas (Cynthia), Susan (Rob), Cynthia, and Raymond (Leilani); seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters.
Julia was cherished by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
As per her wishes, a private family service will be held.
