Julia S. Castor

Julia S. Castor, the daughter of Ernesto and Julia Sierra, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2013 at the age of 82. She was born on February 6, 1931 in Los Angeles, California and had been a life long resident of Harbor City. Julia is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Castor; children, Laura Villegas, Harold (Alice) Pilgrim, Teresa Abbott and Brian Castor; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and siblings, Charlie Sierra, Nettie Sanchez, Gloria Vaughn, Della Marble, Betty Sanchez, Teresa Guerro, Richard Sierra, Ben Sierra and Josie Gonzalez. She is preceded in death by her children, Steven Pilgrim and Susan Guzman and siblings, Ernie Sierra, Angie Aguilar, Art Sierra and Irene Barraza. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 9am followed by interment and Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
