Judith Elizabeth Pressman

Judith (Judy) Elizabeth Pressman of Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca, passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on September 12, 1946, in McKeesport, Pa.. Judy lived a life marked by dedication to her family, a passion for gardening, art, and a deep involvement in community and politics.

Judy graduated from McKeesport High School and earned a BA from UCLA. She worked as a research librarian at Hughes Aircraft and later shared her knowledge as a Teaching Assistant at Santa Monica College.

Judy's personal life was rich with relationships and interests. She is survived by her daughter, Ilana O'Rand (Darin); and grandson, Austin O'Rand. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leeor Pressman, as well as her parents, Falco and Louise Pulsinelli, and her siblings, Paul and Jane.

Known for her unwavering kindness and strong sense of community, Judy found joy in simple pleasures like tending to her beautiful garden, engaging in political debates, and celebrating holidays, especially Halloween with grand enthusiasm.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on November 1, 2024, at 11:30 am at Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association and Jewish National Fund.
