Judith Gale Parton

Judith Gale Parton was called to her eternal home on October 27, 2012. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Judy was born in the City of Orange and lived most of her life on Palos Verdes. After graduating from USC, Judy worked as a dental hygienist for over 40 years. Judy was active in the community as a member of Las Candelistas, Las Madrecitas and the local Red Hat Society Chapter. She enjoyed snow skiing, playing tennis, traveling and playing bridge with her many friends, but her greatest passion was to spend time with her family. She is survived by her husband, James Parton, two sons, Brian (Judy) Gale of Port St. Lucie, FL; & Anthony (Michelle) Gale of Los Alamitos; and daughter Tanya (Mark) Antrobius of Long Beach. She is also survived by sister, Barbara Payne of L.A. and four stepchildren, Lora (Brian) Reynolds, Martha (Jim) Garner, James Parton Jr., and Julia (Richard) Rosas. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Gale. Judy was a loving Nana to ten grandchildren who will miss her very much. Services will be held on Thursday, November 1 at 1:00 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the American Diabetes Association.
