It is with extreme sadness that we announce the unexpected death of our beloved Judah.
Although a mere 23 years old at the time of his passing, Judah brought to those who knew him 23 years of love, joy and memories. He touched many lives with his beautiful, sensitive spirit and God given gifts and talents.
Born in Torrance California, Judah was raised in San Pedro and Redondo Beach CA. It was in Redondo that Judah would realize his love for skateboarding. He would practice with his friends for days on end honing their skills. Another love of his was being in nature. He would spend hours at the park on our block with his brother Caleb. They would come home with their own lizards, only to just have to bring them back to the park the very next day. Judah said, “I want them safe. Back in their own habitat.” Back they would go.
Judah loved learning and school. He was always an A student. His teachers were all thrilled to have him in their classes throughout his life.
Most recently, Judah was taking computer science courses with the hope of computer software designing of security systems. He was also a chef at Buffalo Wild Wings. He liked cooking for himself as well as his family and friends. He was especially known for his all day, homemade “salsa”. He spent time roaming museums and hiking with his girlfriend Raquel. Judah also received great joy playing with and caring for his niece Kimmie and nephew Bradley.
Judah is survived by:
his mother Kimberly Signoretti
his father Daniel Rood
his sisters Patricia, Alexandria, Molly and Hannah
his brothers James and Caleb
his niece Kimmie
his nephew Bradley
his girlfriend Raquel and many friends and family.
Judah, my son, my heart is forever broken. I remember you saying, “Mom, sometimes you have to do things you don’t want to do!” Missing you for the rest of my life is the one thing I Don’t want to do. It has been an honor and a great privilege to be called “Your Mother”.
Family and friends of Judah are invited to share their favorite photos, video memories and heart felt messages on his Tribute page on the Green Hills Mortuary Website.
