Joyce Ann Krcmarik passed away on October 15th, 2017 at the age of 72. She was born on October 21st, 1944 in Cairo, Illinois and was a longtime resident of Anaheim and most recently of Apple Valley, California. Daughter of the late, Alma and Louis Sams. Joyce Ann Krcmarik is survived by; Husband of 52 years: John Dennis Krcmarik, two children, Tammy Prara and Tina Hewitt – Husbands David Prara and Ron Hewitt and her two grandchildren: Larissa Prara and Katy Hamrick – and her husband Daniel Hamrick, and her two sisters Beverly Pitts (widowed) and Peggy Harbour, husband Robert Harbour.
Something very unique in our world today is her marriage of 52 years to John. Nothing in this life is easy and marriage is no exception. Her commitment to him and her daughters was an outstanding example of enduring love and sacrifice. She was proud of her daughters and granddaughters and said so often. She attended every event, performance, and activity her children and grandchildren were in. Family was a priority to Joyce.
Her faith in God and Jesus as her Savior since childhood has been core to her life. She knew she wasn’t worthy of her Savior but none of us are. That’s what makes the gift of eternal life, with a new whole body, with no more suffering, so precious because we don’t deserve such love, but Christ offers it freely for us to accept as our own. She was eager to leave this broken body here and be with her Savior in heaven. Her song is He Touched Me by Bill Gaither. "He Touched Me and Made Me Whole" was her sustaining thought as she bravely decided to let go of medicine and accept her time to go. Her God given purpose was to be the best wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend she could be. She strove to be an example of God’s grace in difficult times and she embraced that challenge as her own to bear through the power of the Holy Spirit. Her example of strength and endurance is powerful. It gives us courage to fight on. We are never alone!
