Josephine Jene Diaz

Josephine Jene Diaz, age 60, passed away in San Pedro, CA on January 2nd, 2024. She was a graduate of San Pedro High School and went on to earn her nursing license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Josephine resided in the South Bay region and worked for the Long Beach Veterans Hospital in the Emergency Department for several years until her retirement. Josephine enjoyed traveling, music and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Diaz, son, Alex Diaz, six grandchildren, and mother Patricia Thyfault. She is also survived by her siblings Franklin and Patrick, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will take place at Green Hills Mortuary on Saturday, January 20 at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Ceremony will be take place on Sunday, January 21st at 10:00 a.m. Flowers can be sent to 1410 N.
