Joseph Libara Vuoso

Joe L. Vuoso passed away on December 18, 2024 with his wife of 23 years by his side in Menifee, CA. He was born in San Pedro on May 4, 1947. Joe is preceded in death by his parents Pancrazio and Libera Vuoso, uncle and aunt Nick and Philomena Trani who raised Joe until age 5, step mother Maria, brothers Nick, George and Victor, sister in law Violet Vuoso, brother in law Neil Boccanfuso, and niece Marissa.
Joe is survived by his wife Diane, brothers Frank, Michael (Pamm), Marco, (Debbie), sister Lili Boccanfuso and numerous nieces and nephews. He attended school in San Pedro and graduated from San Pedro High School.
Joe liked the outdoors and enjoyed camping and spending time with family. He will be missed by all of his friends and family.
Services will be offered on Monday, March 24th, Holy Rosary 10:00 am and funeral Mass 10:30 am at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 870 W. 8th Street, San Pedro, California 90731. Interment and reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charitable organization of your choosing.
