Joseph Bogdanovic of Dana Point, CA died Monday, Sept. 30, at home, after a battle with cancer.
Born in Croatia, in the town of Komiza on the island of Vis, January 25, 1936 to Petar and Bepina Bogdanovic. Emigrated to San Pedro, CA in 1939. Attended school in San Pedro, then continued at USC where he received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in engineering. A talented engineer, Joseph had a 31 year career with Northrop Grumman, retiring in 1992 to Dana Point and Marbella, Spain.
Joseph is survived by his wife Beverly, their 3 children: Heather, Joe jr, and Paul, six grand children, and his brother, Peter.
The memorial service will be held at Green Hills Chapel at 11:00am on Saturday, November 2. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
