Joseph Allen Bennett

Joseph Allen Bennett Born July 18, 1922 in Joplin, MO, died February 21, 2013. Joe served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. He retired from the Telephone Company. Joe spent his retirement years enjoying travel and helping other people. He was especially helpful to family in difficult times. Joe volunteered at LAX as a Traveler's Aide and at Little Company of Mary Hospital, where he was well known and liked by the staff. He is survived by one sister, Frankie, 6 nieces and nephews, and several cousins who all loved him very much. Extra thanks to the staff at Spring Senior Assisted Living for the loving care and attention they showed him.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, March 2 at The Chapel in Green Hills Memorial Park in Rolling Hills. In lieu of flowers, donate to your favorite charity.
