Joseph Bernard Baune

Joseph Bernard Baune, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, and dear friend entered peacefully into his eternal life with the Lord on May 15, 2012 at his home in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Joseph entered into this life on February 5, 1927 in Alton, Iowa to Anna Baune. His father, Joseph Baune, passed away before he was born. He moved to Remsen, Iowa, with his mother and sister, when he was still a boy. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II while stationed in Italy. He moved to the San Pedro/Torrance, California area in 1953 and became a General Contractor building and remodeling many luxurious homes and apartments. He was married to Joyce Steck in 1954 and together they had four wonderful children. He is preceded in death by; his wife, Joyce, his son, David, and his sister Viola Kasner of Kingsley, Iowa. He is survived by; his sons, Donald and Daniel, his daughter, Pamela, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will always be loved, missed, and remembered. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service and celebration of Joseph's life on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 1:00pm and a viewing on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 5:00-8:00pm at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S.
