Jorge Cruz

Jorge Rene Cruz “Napo”, beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 76. Jorge worked as a pressman until he retired.

Napo was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Catalina Cruz. In 1986 Napo immigrated permanently to Los Angeles, California and has resided here ever since.

Napo currently resided in the city of Torrance, and he is survived by his daughter Xiomara Cruz, his son in law William David Price and his three grandsons, Jacob, Matthew and Sean Price and his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Napo’s passion in life, was his love for his family, friends and the beautiful game of Futbol “soccer”. Napo loved to travel and spend time with his family in Guatemala and with his family in California. Napo loved and enjoyed attending the World cup tournaments in person he was able to participate as a fan for World Cup 94 in Los Angeles, World Cup 2014 in Brazil and World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Napo’s viewing and funeral services will be held on October 18, (viewing) at 430pm - 830pm and funeral service on October 19, 2024, at 1130am to 1230pm.
