John David Wicker

On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, John David Wicker passed away peacefully at forty-seven years of age. John was born to Loretta and John Wicker on May 2, 1975 in Torrance, California. He graduated from El Segundo High School in 1993. He continued to live in the South Bay after high school.

John was best known for his quick-witted humor and generous spirit. He loved gardening, making hot sauce, and watching football. He is survived by his sister, Jodie (Wicker) Dowling, her husband Mark and their children, Connor and Courtney of Danville, California; and his brother Jay Wicker of Scottsdale, Arizona. A graveside service will be held on January 6, 2023, at 12:30 PM in Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verde. A celebration of life will happen directly after the cemetery at Tavern on Main in El Segundo.
