John Shinsaku Wakamoto

John Shinsaku Wakamoto passed away peacefully on June 14, 2013 at the age of 87. He was born on March 29, 1926 in Seattle, Washington and had been a resident of Torrance, California for 21 years. John truly loved his family, his only daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. He was known as grandpa to many of his grandchildren's friends. He was a kind hearted man and loved by many. John is survived by his beloved daughter, Grace; son-in-law, Sonny and grandchildren, Kristen and Ryan. Services will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 7pm at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 West 166th Street, Gardena, CA 90247.
