John Z. Nishimura

After spending the day with family and watching USC win, John Nishimura, 88, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013. He was preceded by his loving wife Helen, brother George, and sisters Toshi Kanamine, Michi Murayama, and Sumiye Hirai. He is survived by his sister Yoshi Miyawaki; children Bob (Mary), Rod (Marion), and Lori; grandchildren grandchildren, Erin Morinaka, Brandon Morinaka, Jake (Christine) Nishimura, Jesse Nishimura, Nolan Nishimura, and Colby Nishimura; several nieces and nephews; and numerous previous Scouts and Little Leaguers. A private inurnment will be held.
