John George Bachand

John George Bachand, 87, passed away peacefully with his two loving children Richard & Renee by his side, on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
He was born on 6/16/1931 in Millville, Massachusetts and was the son of the late George and Mary Bachand.

John was the second oldest of 10 siblings, a family of six boys and four girls.

John married Georgette Goulet on April 14, 1951. They were married for 57 years when Georgette passed away. He proudly served in the Us Army from 1952 until 1954 in the Korean War, achieving the rank of Corporal.

In 1955 John and Georgette left Massachusetts and moved to California. They had three children, Robert, Richard and Renee.

John was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping with family and friends. He worked in the automotive and airline maintenance industries for over 40 years.

He is survived by three brothers Albert, Roger, Harvey and three sisters Catherine, Margaret, Mary Ann; two children Richard, (spouse) Sindy and Renee, (spouse) Ernie; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
