A lifetime resident of San Pedro, California, passed away on October 15th, 2023 at the age of 59.
Joel was born on April 5, 1964, in Long Beach, California. He graduated from San Pedro High School in 1982 where he played baseball. He began his career working for the ILWU Local 13 and later transferred to the Marine Clerks Local 63 where he retired from. He was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Sr. and Bonnie Vitalich and brothers Andrew Jr. and Daniel Vitalich. He is survived by his Aunt Josephine Nizetich, his nephews Mike (Zulma) Vitalich, Greg Vitalich, Todd Vitalich and niece Stacy (Jeff) Carter, as well as several cousins.
Family to hold a private burial.
