Joe Goar

Joe, age 91 passed away Jan 10, 2019 at home in San Pedro. Joe was born and raised in Mississippi then moved to southern California in 1952 where he has resided since. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Mary in 2012. He is survived by a daughter, Beverly Williams; son John (Patty) Goar; grandchildren, Jennifer (Drazen) Sutrin; Michelle Williams, Jeff (Rachel) Goar, and Jarred Goar; great grandchildren, Lauren, Kaley and Jacob Sutrin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday 1-15-19 from 4:30 to 8:30pm at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel. Services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park on Wednesday 1-16-19 at 9:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the V.F.W. or the charity of your choice.
