Joseph "Joe" Dobosh, age 40, a family man and friend to so many, passed unexpectedly on July 16, 2022. Joe grew up in Lomita and eventually moved to Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. He was a blue collar worker and an avid union advocate of Local 562 Carpenter's Union. He was a "Joe" of all trades and mastered anything he put his heart and mind into. He excelled as a Carpenter Foreman for Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company and his goal was to become a superintendent. His last project was being a major player in the construction of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. Joe had a magnetic and charismatic personality and loved golfing, fishing, Steelers football, camping, poker (especially his father's annual memorial poker tournament), and zombie hunting with his son, Joey Jr. He loved hosting BBQs and parties for his friends and family and welcomed so man into his life. He loved the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas and was known for his elaborate haunted houses and Christmas displays. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Ed, and is survived by his mother, Kim, his sister Sarah, brother Michael, and beloved wife, Ashley, and four children, Malia, Anali, Joey Jr., and Bailey. He will be missed by many.
