Joan White

It is with great sadness that the family of Joan Darlene Ward White announce her passing. She was born in 1934 in San Diego, California and died in Mission Viejo, California on February 14, 2021 at the age of 86. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Noble Leroy “Lee” White, in 2006, and will be lovingly remembered by her children Lori White (Ronald Berst), Sheri McGinley (Joseph) and Steven White (Lena). Joan will also be fondly remembered by her six grandchildren, Michael McGinley (Kristina), Andrew White (Lacie), Cristina Whitney (James), William McGinley, Emily White, Jacob White, and six great-grandchildren, Tessa Jones, Skylar Jones, Mila White, Ryan McGinley, Brixton Whitney and Conrad White.

Joan was very social and extremely musical, playing the piano by ear. She was extroverted, very expressive and outspoken. Joan loved to travel and explore, making a trip to the Holy Land and Europe with the Rolling Hills Covenant Church Choir. Having fun and socializing with family and friends was one of her favorite activities and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Service in memory of Joan will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2:00pm, in The Pavilion at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. Interment will follow in the family plot at Green Hills Memorial Park.
