Jhun A. Domondon, 45
Jhun Abad Domondon, 45, of Carson, California, went home to be with the Lord after a long and fierce battle with cancer on December 29, 2015.
Jhun is survived by his wife Elma of 44 years, sons Joshua and Roger-Mark Domondon, daughter Maiah Domondon, parents Rufo Sr. Domondon and Grace (Willie) Kelly, brothers Allan and Sonny Domondon, sister Alyn (Romeo) Sedano, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. Jhun was a loving father, husband, uncle, and friend to all.
Jhun was a family man with a passion for technology and had the heart of a servant. Born and raised in the Philippines, Jhun came to the United States to start a new life with a family and eventually came to run his own company, Videosonic Lab. He loved the Lord, Jesus Christ, and he centered his life upon the Bible and God's direction for every move he makes. His eyes were glued to the goal he sought after since the beginning of his life as a father and a husband, to fight for a future in which his children are successful in whatever it is God has for them. He was more than just a father to his children, but to those he took under his wing in the company he had built. Jhun imparted his own knowledge and experience to build up others in the great walk of life, and he has left his mark in the hearts of many. Jhun will forever be remembered by his family, friends, and colleagues as a man with integrity and a heart for the Jesus Christ.
A special thank you to the staff at Long Beach Memorial Hospital for their professional care and support, and for Dr. Young and Dr. Wu for their loving support towards Jhun during his journey to victory. Also, a thank you to Green Hills Memorial Park and Calvary Chapel South Bay for organizing the services and making the necessary arrangements for Jhun's final place of rest.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Green Hills Memorial Park on Friday, January 8th. The funeral service will be at Calvary Chapel South Bay and will be officiated by Pastor Jeff Gill on Saturday, January 9th at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Jhun will be laid to rest at Green Hills Memorial Park.
