Jesse Andrew Flores Guerrero, known as “Jesse” to some and “Andrew,” to others, passed away on July 31, 2020, at his family home at the age of 54 years.
Andrew was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on July 12, 1966, to Jesus and Merlinda Guerrero. He graduated from Carson High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH).
Like his parents, Andrew was very active in service to the community and city. His contributions included serving as Vice-President and President for the Filipino Community of Carson (FCC) and working on both the Philippine Independence Day Celebration Planning Committee and Philippine Independence Day Foundation. Andrew was also a member in the Knights of Columbus as well as a founding member of CSUDH’s first Filipino club, Pilipino Educational and Cultural Experience.
Andrew’s friends, colleagues, and family know well of his great heart and passion to put others before himself and his willingness to serve.
Andrew is survived by his older sister Belinda, younger sister, Leilani, and younger brother, Jason. He also leaves behind his dear nephews Ryan, Shaun, and Morgan.
In loving memory of our dearly departed Merlinda Guerrero (mother), Jesus Guerrero (father), Teresa Guerrero-Sullivan (sister) and all of our loved ones that are in the arms of our Lord.
The family of Jesse Andrew Flores Guerrero wishes to thank all of our family and friends for the support, love, prayers, and condolences that have been extended to us during this difficult time.
