Jesse Ellis Gatzek

Jesse Ellis Gatzek, age 75, residing in Carson, California, passed away on June 15, 2020 due to heart failure.

Jesse was born in Maryland, USA on August 22, 1944. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Cal State Northridge. During his lifetime, Jess worked as safety consultant for different companies and with his wife's influence, he shifted to elementary teaching at Lynwood School District before his retirement.

Jesse was married to Connie Corpuz Sarmiento on April 14, 1994. They were married for 26 years with no children of their own.
He was preceded in death by his Mom, Bea on February 16 and his sister Debbie on March 25, both of this same year, 2020.

He is survived by his loving wife, Connie and his three stepchildren: Edison, Wilmer and Froilan along with 7 step grandchildren.

His funeral service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 9:00 AM. Burial will follow right after the ceremony in Green Hills Memorial Park..
