Jerry Sue Crane

June 10th, 1932 - January 6th, 2012
Surrounded by her loving family, Jerry Crane passed away Friday, January 6th, 2012 in Seal beach, CA. Born in Brady, Texas she and her family later moved to Junction, Texas where she graduated high school in 1950. She then earned her nursing credentials at Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing In San Antonio Texas in 1953. Upon graduating she acquired a
position as a surgical nurse in that same hospital. In 1954 she met her husband Don who was stationed at Del Rio, Texas. They were married in April 1955. During their early marriage years they were on the often on the move but Jerry had time to have the first two of their three children. They went from Del Rio to Chaumont, France, then to Lakenheath, England
followed by Waco, Texas. While at Williams AFB Arizona, Don was tapped for duty in 1967 and Jerry and now the three children moved to Austin, Texas to await his return. He returned in August of 1968 and were assigned to Williams AFB. Don retired from the Air Force in April of 1971 and the family then moved to Ranchos Palos Verdes, CA. Jerry worked at San Pedro Peninsula Hospital for 23 years and finished her career as the charge nurse in ICU. She retired in June 1994. In 2008 she and Don moved to Seal Beach, CA. Where she enjoyed life with her family. She is
survived by her husband Don of 56 years. Daughters Janet, Kirsten and their husbands, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Now is her time to be with her son David, who had passed away in 1987. Funeral Services will be held on January 12th at 11:00 AM Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S. Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA
