Jerry Sam Buccaran

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Sam Buccaran, who left us too soon on March 16, 2025, following a tragic motorcycle accident. Born on July 24, 1979, in Harbor City, CA, Jerry was the beloved son of Virya Robledo and the late Sime Buccaran. He was raised in San Pedro, CA, where he attended San Pedro High School.

He worked as both a casual longshoreman and a plumber, always taking pride in his work. Jerry is survived by his devoted girlfriend of 12 years, Janina Roa, his loving mother Virya Robledo, his sister Toni Buccaran, brother-in-law Mark Castaneda, aunts Lina Cavedoni and Gemma Caric, and countless other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends near and far, including many loved ones in Costa Rica.
Jerry will be deeply missed but will remain in our hearts forever. Though gone too soon, his love, laughter, and passion for life will never be forgotten.
