Jennifer S Pourzia

On Wednesday February 16. 2022 Jennifer Ann Pourzia (nee Stob) passed from her life on Earth to her eternal heavenly home. Jennifer was born on February 10, 1953 in Oak Park, Il to Henry and Eloise Stob.
After graduating from Timothy Christian Schools, she received her nursing diploma from West Suburban Hospital School of Nursing and later her BSN from Elmhurst College. She was a dedicated, conscientious, and compassionate nurse who was well respected by her colleagues.
She met her husband Dr. G. Firouz Pourzia while working as a nurse at Hines Veterans Hospital in Maywood, Il. They married and moved to California in 1990. In 1991 she gave birth to her son Paul and considered him to be her greatest joy and purpose in life. She continued her work as a nurse and ended her career as a nursing supervisor and medical coder for Haven Health Home Care.
Jennifer had a generous, kind, and gentle spirit. She loved being a proud mother to Paul, a loving and supportive wife to Firouz, and a loving sister and aunt. She adored her cats and was a knowledgeable buyer, seller, and collector of dolls.
Jennifer is deeply missed and mourned by her husband and son, along with her siblings Barbara Van Hout (Thys), Mary Vanden Bosch (Woody), Ginny Dykstra (Mark), Hank Stob (Denise), her twin sister Karen Price (Dean), and Marjorie Thomas (Steve White); and many nieces and nephews.
