Jennie Marie (Milosevich) Lynn was born on March 24, 1933 in Gallup, NM to Croatian immigrants Jack P. and Mary (Svetic) Milosevich who had five sons and three daughters. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 25, 2023 in Torrance, CA.
Our beloved Jennie was a devoted wife of 40 years to Patrick Lynn Sr. and a woman who was full of love and light during her time with us on earth, known to always lend a helping hand to those in need. She was a wealth of support, generosity, empathy, grace and genuine love. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her and were blessed to know her.
Known to her lifelong friends as “Jean” or “Jeannie”; Jennie was a graduate of San Pedro High School, class of S’ 1951. She was a loyal secretary for about forty years with the Carpenters Union Local #929 and the Millwrights Union Local #1607 until retirement in the early 1990s. As a teenager she became a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union and later with her husband, Pat, a member of the Dalmatian-American Club of San Pedro. She attended Jubilee Fellowship in Torrance, CA and was a dedicated member of the Body of Christ there, she was committed to serving her Lord Jesus and helping others. She had many wonderful times traveling with her family throughout the United States in recreational vehicles visiting relatives and sightseeing. She was also able to visit the homeland of her parents, Croatia, with her brother-in-law Louis Malnar. Jennie was an excellent cook and wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her sons, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. She loved watching Laker games with her family, gardening, and being a great friend to everyone she knew.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack P. and Mary (Svetic) Milosevich as well as five of her siblings and their spouses: Pete Milosevich, Albert Milosevich, Jack (Becky) Milosevich, Bertha (Louis) Malnar, and Tony (Tex) Milosevich. She is survived by her loving sons, Jeffrey (Josette) Lynn and Patrick Lynn Jr.; granddaughter, Jenna (Luis) Lynn-Valdez; grandson, David Jordan; sister, Mary (Rod) Shackelford; brother, Douglas (Marty) Milosevich, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives throughout California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Croatia.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 10am-12:30pm at Green Hills Memorial Park “Historic Church” 27501 S. Western Ave. Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
