Jeffrey Robert Taguchi

Jeffrey Robert Taguchi, 52, of Rowland Heights, CA, passed away July 9, 2014.

He was born in Las Vegas, NV, on April 15, 1962. He graduated from North High School, Torrance, CA , and received a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from California State University - Long Beach. He married Heather Hunt Taguchi on December 30, 2005.

While living in Nevada, he was involved in municipal and county government, serving on several local boards and commissions including the Nye County Commission. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and a recovering golfer. Jeff had a love for life and for people.

Jesus Christ was the center of Jeff's life. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at age 17. He dedicated his life to his Lord and Savior, his greatest passion. As a pastor he served at Beatty Community Church in Nevada, Oasis Bread of Life in Taipei, Taiwan , and New Life Christian Center, Irvine, CA. He traveled the world with the message of the amazing love of God. His desire to make disciples for Christ led him to mentor people throughout the US and Taiwan, who in turn took the Gospel to other nations and made disciples.

Jeff Taguchi is survived by his wife Heather, his daughter Emilia Jia-Xin, his mother Mary Sue (Nakanishi) Taguchi, his father, Jimmie Taguchi. He was an incredible husband and devoted father and a loyal friend.

A viewing will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, on July 15th 2014, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The celebration service will be held at New Life Christian Center 1891 Alton Parkway, Irvine, CA. Tuesday evening July 15 at 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Green Hills Memorial park on July 16, 2014, at 10:00 am.
