Jeanne Santiago Lujan

Jeanne C. Santiago- Lujan, 74 years old of Lakewood, California passed away peacefully at home on July 6, 2023. She was born May 21, 1949 in San Pedro, California. A daughter of Theresa Ortiz Espinosa and Manuel Espinosa, she is predeceased by son Sammy Scocchio. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Joseph Lujan, Daughter: Melissa Scocchio-Curiel, Sisters: Cassandra Santiago and Sylvia Espinosa, Grandchildren: Noah Curiel (Emily Curiel) and Bella Curiel, Great-Grandson: Michael Curiel, Son-in-Law: Alejandro Romero and Brother-in-Law: Arde Bedjanian.

From a young age, Jeanne had always shown a passion for cosmetology. Starting with her own hair, and then styling other’s hair in the bathrooms of Barton Hill elementary, Dana Junior High School, and San Pedro High School, she had everyone looking gorgeous. She then pursued cosmetology school and became a stylist. Jeanne worked very hard for her two beautiful children, Melissa and Sammy. She was a woman with enormous passion, hilarious humor, and unconditional love.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 17th, 2023 at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, followed by interment.
