Jean M Geich

Jean Marguerite Geich passed away July 20, 2023 at the age of 91 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 13, 1931 to Melbourne and Marguerite Mauch in St. Louis Missouri. She moved to San Pedro with her parents in August of 1940. She attended 15th Street Elementary, Dana Middle School and San Pedro High. She married Nick Geich on June 19, 1951 and was a mother to 4 children. She worked as a pharmacy tech for several years at Kaiser. She enjoyed cooking for her family, sharing family recipes and luncheons with her friends. You would often find her on a weekend playing card games with friends and entertaining the Englander neighbors. She is preceded in death by her husband Nick Geich and daughter Donna Jean Geich. She is survived by her daughter Lynn (Mike) DeLuca, daughter Carole Geich, and son Nick (Tina) Geich. by several grandchildren including, Erin Hernandez, Nicole (Mando), Nick, Michael (Kristen), Anthony, Taniss, Lorenzo, Alexis and Vanessa… and great grandchildren Christopher, Adrian, Victoria, Ralphy, Michele, Ryann, Sofia, and Jax. She also leaves behind her best friend Joey Gargas. Jean truly enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will take place Friday, August 11 at Green Hills Memorial Park at 9:00 am. All are welcome.
