Jat Thomas Kalunakaahele Nihipali

With extreme sadness, we announce the passing of Jat Thomas Kalunakaahele Nihipali. Jat was a kind and gentle soul who has undoubtably left his mark on this earth through his giant smile and abundant Aloha. He will be deeply missed by many.

Jat was born April 29, 1994 to Lillian and Thomas Nihipali. As a child, Jat always had a go with the flow mentality. Often scooped up by aunties and taken on adventures with his brothers Steven and Sidney. Experiences that cemented their brotherly bond. He followed them to Saint Anthony High School where he lettered in football, basketball & volleyball.

So full of love, life, and joy, Jat had a dream to share new adventures and life with his own family. This dream was tragically and unexpectedly cut short on January 3rd, 2023. That day, Jat’s spirit left our physical presence, but his gentle and loving soul will live on with us forever.

Jat is survived by his daughter Penelope, son Brody, mother Lillian, father Thomas, his brothers and sisters, grand mother Mimi, and numerous aunties and cousins who love him so.
