Janice Henriette Numata passed away on August 31, 2018 at the age of 76. She was born in Karlstad, MN on January 12, 1942 and was a longtime resident of Manhattan Beach, CA. During her life, she had many adventures and accomplishments including living in Japan, going back to college and earning a degree at 51, having a career and retiring from the Securities and Exchange Commission as a branch manager and traveling to Europe several times. Most of all, she liked to spend time with her family, knit, read and bake. Besides Manhattan Beach, Hawaii was her favorite place to be and go to the beach. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Jose) and her granddaughter, Gabby. A tribute to honor her life will be held on Saturday, September 15th at 2:00 pm at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes.
