James Estreller See

August 9, 1942 — June 20, 2022

James Estreller See a.k.a Ji-meh, I-meh, Jimmy, a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend & Pastor. He passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. He is turning 80.

James was born in Manila, Philippines on August 9, 1942 to Eduardo & Soledad Estreller-See. Grew up in a Catholic background, studied at Xavier School, a Jesuit Catholic college preparatory school. His strong devotion to knowing who God is led him to become a born-again Christian through the Church, Jesus Is Lord, in 1984.
He got a calling into pastoral ministry through a dream and a vision. This gave birth to a church, “The Lord Is My God” in Quezon City which he Pastored from 1991 until the time of his death.

A strong believer of Jesus Christ. He loved sharing about his faith, the Bible and God’s biblical revelations to him. He did not live a perfect life, but he always recognized God’s grace. He always encouraged people to know how the love of our Abba Father is perfect and that His grace is sufficient and overflows.

James loved food and good adventures, whether traveling to new places or going Thrift Shop hopping, and his favorite was Goodwill. He enjoyed gatherings and taking photos in keeping the memory alive, which was strongly passed on to his Children. He was hands-on in so many things, even with his children. Very creative and street smart. To his Family & Friends, he was known as The MacGyver.

James is survived by his Beloved Wife Liwayway, their children with the spouses and grandchildren: Emily, spouse Russ and daughter Samantha; Flory, spouse Jeff; Maryann, spouse Aleksey and children, Matt & Abby; Jiham, spouse Airene and son Yushiro; and his youngest, Jobel.

James is also survived by his Mother, Soledad, who just turned 105; siblings Willy, Llana, Boy, Henry, Lindy and Robert and their respective families.

James’ compassion, love, and concern for everyone will surely be missed by the people who knew him and loved him. His advice, ingenious handiwork, expertise in marcotting a plant, hopeful and upbeat personality are just but a few of his traits that will be forever missed.
