James Raspe

James Raspe passed away on April 21, 2017 at the age of 51. He was born on November 8, 1965, and was a longtime resident of Manhattan Beach, California and business analyst for The Boeing Company. James loved spending his time outdoors, and could be found enjoying himself at the beach – swimming, surfing, playing volleyball or riding his bike on The Strand. He was also passionate about helping those who needed assistance, spending his days volunteering in soup kitchens to feed the homeless. James was a beloved member of our community, and his presence will live on through those who survive him - his father, Esteban, brother, Steve, sister-in-law, Kristina, two nephews, Jacob and Lucas, and his countless friends. A funeral service for James will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, May 13th at Green Hills Memorial Chapel followed by interment.
