James "Jim" Osborn, the son of Robert and Shirley Osborn, was born and raised in Torrance, California on July 15th 1961. He passed away on Monday, April 14th, 2014 while at his home in Torrance.
Jim was an amazing father, brother, and friend to many. He had the biggest heart and was constantly giving his all to make sure that everyone he knew was happy and comfortable. He volunteered many hours with the Special Olympics, the walk for breast cancer and many other organizations. He coached children's soccer, baseball, softball, and basketball for several years.
He was employed in roofing and became familiar with most forms of construction for 15 years under his brother Bobby Osborn. When he turned 36 he started a new career path at Moog Aircraft for almost 17 years as a maintenance technician. To this day most of his Moog coworkers have become his very close friends and even part of the family.
Jim is survived by his sons and daughter, Cory, Randy, Kasey, and Jeffrey.
Grandchild: Aubri
He will surely be missed by all. His service will be at 3:00pm on Friday, April 25th 2014 at Green Hills Memorial Park.
