James Haruo Ego

James Haruo Ego, the son of Yotaro and Haruno Ego, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2012 at the age of 88. He was born on April 22, 1923 in Long Beach, California and had been a longtime resident of Gardena, California. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Ego and sister, Fumiko Tomo. James is survived by his beloved wife, Satsuko "Margaret" Ego; children, Joann (Dexter) Kodama, Linda (Russell) Ung, Randy (Cathy Bayne) Ego and Robin (David) Navarrete; grandchildren, Jefree Tanaka, Jody Ung, Casey Ung, Tracy Ego, Hana Ego, Daniel Ohata, Miyuko Navarrete and brother, Goro Ego. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Family requests that there be no flowers.
