James Steven Blackmon

James Steven Blackmon passed away on January 22, 2014 at the age of 57 after a year-long battle with esophageal cancer. He was born on January 7, 1957 in Langdale, Alabama and had been a long time resident of Redondo Beach, California. Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Patrick; children, Bradley and Laurie Blackmon; step-children, Kyle and Robyn Haiges; mother, Carolyn Myers and siblings, Terri Blackmon, Sharon Hargraves and Bill Myers. Steve's son, Brian Blackmon and father James Blackmon preceded him in death. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 3pm at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
