Jacqueline L.A. Scotti

June 1, 1930 — January 20, 2013

Jacqueline Lise Arlette Scotti
Our Dear sweet mother, Jacqueline Lise Arlette Scotti (m. Robert), has gone to live with her Dear Lord. Born in Châlons-Sur-Marne, Paris, France on June 1, 1930 and passed away in her beloved San Pedro on January 20, 2013.
Our mom came to America with her husband Sgt. Major Louis Mario Scotti who she met and married in Paris, France during the occupation after WWII, to give a better life to her children and grandchildren. When she so proudly became an American Citizen in 1958 she was given a Creed that stated in part, "I do not choose to be a common man. It is my right to be uncommon-if I can", which is how she lived her life. She had many hobbies including sewing, knitting, cooking, canning, and her favorite was gardening.
She is survived by her children Eveline (Steven) Packer, Allen Scotti, Kenneth (Enza) Scotti, and Lionel Scotti; her grandchildren Rami Packer, Sonia Packer, Michael Packer, Jamie Packer, Matthew Packer, Jeffrey Packer, Danielle Packer/Sanchez, Joshua Scotti/Day, Benjamin Scotti, Luigi Scotti, Salena Lanon/Scotti, Anjel Bodi/Sherman, Sundance Sherman, great grandchildren Amber Lopez, Jacob Packer, Elijah Packer, Naomi Sanchez, Mason Lanon, Anna Sherman, Cyrus Sherman, Wyatt Bodi and Gemma Sherman, Veronica Scotti, Jessilynn Scotti, Annabelle Scotti, Aurora Day, Anastasia Day.
She is the last of her generation from France who journeyed to this great country and now the torch has been passed on...
Funeral services will be on February 1, 11:00 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
