In Loving Memory of Jacqueline Kardously
Jacqueline (Jackie), a source of strength, love, and laughter, peacefully passed away at the age of 87 on
December 1 st , 2023. Her life, filled with various health challenges, was an extraordinary journey marked
by resilience, humor, and an unwavering love for family, friends, and furry companions alike.
Born on May 8 th , 1936 in Aleppo, Syria, Jacqueline’s mischievous spirit and infectious sense of humor
developed, alongside her deep love for animals. From a young age, she displayed a unique connection
with all creatures, earning her the title of an avid animal lover. Throughout her life, Jackie welcomed
countless pets into her home, providing them with love, care, and a special place in her heart. They were
her constant companions and brought her joy and comfort during difficult times.
Jacqueline was a devoted wife, and her role as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend brought
her unparalleled joy. She reveled in creating cherished memories anyone who crossed her path, passing
on the wisdom gained from a life well-lived.
Her friendships extended far beyond her immediate family, with Jackie forming deep connections with a
wide circle of friends. Her home, a haven of hospitality and laughter, was open to all. Whether sharing
stories, enjoying a meal, or reveling in one of her legendary pranks, Jackie’s friendships were marked by
sincerity and genuine affection.
Jackie’s legacy is one of love, resilience, humor, and compassion. Her memory will be cherished by her
husband, children, granddaughters, nieces, nephews, friends, and all the animals she adored. A
memorial service to celebrate Jackie’s remarkable life will be held on December 17 th , 2023 at Green Hills
Memorial Park.
May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of her family, the joy of her friends, and the
wagging tails of the furry friends who crossed the Rainbow Bridge before her. Jacqueline's memory will
forever be a source of inspiration and warmth to all who had the privilege of sharing in her
