Jack Goffigon

Jack Goffigon, the son of Oliver and Edith Goffigon, went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2015 at the age of 86. He was born on October 2, 1928 in Schenectady, New York. After pioneering mission work in Borneo, and then prison chaplaincy, he spent 43 years ministering in and around the Port of Los Angeles. Jack is survived by his daughter-in-law, Jill (John) Jacobson and his two grandsons, Reid and Ross Goffigon, and step grandson, Dylan Jacobson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen and son, Robert Goffigon. Service will be at the Green Hills Mortuary and Memorial Chapel, 27501 Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275, Friday, June 26, 2015 at 9a.m. Interment to follow. A reception will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1450 W. 7th Street, San Pedro, CA 90732, 310.832.1189, after the interment.
